With more than 38 years experience in optics science and engineering, I am able to offer expert assistance with your optics projects at all stages of research and development.

I have helped clients through all phases of conception, research, development, specification, prototyping, procurement, testing, qualification, calibration, and analysis for product development as well as very large research and development projects.

One project I helped CalTech and MIT with for over 14 years is LIGO (see LIGO optic below). I was the optics consultant for the core optics in LIGO and Advanced LIGO for the observatories in Livingston, LA, and Hanford, WA. In 2017 the original inventors of LIGO won the Nobel Prize in Physics for their accomplishments.
